Achievement Matters Test Camps

The test camps provides services to youth grades 6th -12th that will enhance attainment of a post-secondary future by: (a) assessing their readiness for post-secondary work (b) helping students to navigate the financial aid process (c) providing test preparation programs that offer students access to technology and high school graduation on-task planning services in the areas of:

  • Test Preparation PSAT/SAT/AP
  • FAFSA Financial Aid Assistance
  • Community Service Projects

 Funded by United Way of Miami-Dade County and Fisher Island Philanthropic Fund.
“Achievement Matters” STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Robotics Camp Clients participate in three (3) five-day STEM Robotics Classes where participants learn how to calculate vehicle dimensions, vehicle performance and vehicle dynamics, which normally takes six months, in just a week, inclusive of a competition that combines 5 Categories of the competition, which include Delivery, Robotic Specs, Robotics Sketch, 3D Design and Autonomy is designed to celebrate invention and knowledge. Students work together to design and build an autonomous robot and conduct authentic research to solve real world problems.
